There are indeed a hardly any different opinions outside there about what makes a goal worth measuring. So why are so many of our goals so dense to meaningfully measure? Don’t try to be SMART- the SMART acronym is also confusing. Human beings don’t know whether goals should be SMART or whether performance measures should be SMART. They don’t know what “specific” really method (that’s what the S stands for). They aren’t certain if R stands for realistic or relevant.
